Our artist 1:1 coaching sessions are designed for female artists who are serious about their music and building a career for themselves in the UK music industry and beyond. These artists want to invest in marketing coaching to help them build a powerful promotional strategy for their music and releases, and learn more about the world of music marketing in the process.
Who are the Artist 1:1 Sessions with?
Through partnering with Tahnee as your marketing coach at Align Agency, artists have access to her 5+ years working in music marketing, working with talent such as Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama and Leona Lewis. Tahnee has worked with all three major labels; Sony Music, Warner and Universal, as well as renowned music brands such as Live Nation, Fabric & Disney. She is passionate about using her extensive experience and knowledge to help female artists promote their music, showcase their talent and connect with new audiences and fan-bases in the most authentic way possible.
What's included in the sessions?
For a fee of £80 per hourly session, the artist 1:1 sessions cover topics such as brand building, social media strategy and content creation, with each session personalised to the unique needs of the artist, depending on varying genre, styles, personalities and goals.
- BRAND BUILDING – Helping artists define and develop their unique brand identity, to create an authentic, cohesive and recognisable brand that connects with audiences. AUDIENCE ANALYSIS – Working with the artist to identify and develop a deeper understanding of their fanbase/ audience demographics and profiles and how best to speak to them.
- CONTENT PILLARS – Creating clear content pillars/categories for artists to refer back to, making it easier to create content that aligns with artist branding and audience interests.
- RELEASE STRATEGY – Advising artists on the best possible release strategy, pulling together a strategic timeline for releases as well as helping plan out the surrounding marketing ideas and activations.
- PLANNING & TIME MANAGEMENT – Helping artists develop effective time management skills and project planning techniques as well as building a suitable plan together to ensure artists can stay organised and focused on their goals.
- SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY – Assisting artists in developing an effective social media strategy that showcases their music, personality and values online, helps increase their online presence, engage with fans, and grow their fanbase.
- CONTENT CREATION – Advising artists on how to create compelling content, such as videos/images for social media, creating music videos, writing press releases or newsletters, shooting behind-the-scenes footage, as well as strategies for promoting that content to reach a wider audience.
- MUSIC INDUSTRY INSIGHTS – Sharing knowledge and insights about the music industry, including understanding label structures, how touring works, distribution strategies, monetisation as an artist, unique marketing techniques, and any other relevant areas of the business.
- NETWORK & COLLABORATION – Assisting artists in building their own team, or making connections within the wider industry, including introductions to industry professionals, fellow musicians, producers, A&Rs and potential collaborators where relevant.
- MENTAL HEALTH – Addressing the emotional challenges that artists often face, such as self-doubt, creative blocks, and digital burnout. Offering support, motivation, and strategies for maintaining a healthy work-life balance, allowing artists to focus on work they are good at and truly enjoy.
